Embedded in a thread on here somewhere, someone very kindly put the code you add to the end of You Tube video URL's to change them to HD.

I've searched and can't find. Can anyone help?

Actually the code you need to add is : &ap=%2526fmt%3D18

And you put it betwwen the 1 and the quote marks (") in both url addresses in the embed code.

This is for the MP4 version (better quality sound & stereo)

If you want HQ Flash better quality resoloution, the code is : &ap=%2526fmt%3D6 inserted as before.

A comparisson that I did in the Test Forum can be seen HERE and the code can be seen HERE

I'm struggling! I've logged into You Tube but I can't put any changes into the embeded code.

What am I doing wrong?

You copy the embed code from You Tube and then paste it into the forum (or whatever) and then add in the extra code, then you submit the post. I'm positive you can't alter already uploaded vids on the You tube site itself, but the extra code can be added in when embedding the vid on other forums, sites etc. :thumb
