24 year old Corporal Tom Gaden of 1st Battalion The Rifles was killed in Afghanistan on February 25th when a bomb struck his Land Rover in Helmand Province. He will be buried in his home town of Taunton on Monday March 16th.
Cpl Gaden was a very keen biker as were his parents who both learned to ride so they could share their son's interest. They have asked if as many bikers as possible could attend his funeral to pay tribute to him.
Bikers who wish to attend should meet at Hamilton Road Bus Station at 10:00am (Map). From the M5 Junction 25, follow the dual carriageway towards Taunton town centre. At the first set of traffic lights (with Creech Castle - a sort of mock castle on your right) turn left and follow that road until you get to the bus station. You won't be able to miss it because we hope there will be a lot of bikes there!
