Wanted YSS Rear Shock part. Ring/clip for pre-load

R1150GS YSS Rear Shock with remote pre-load.

My shock , a secondhand purchase here, is missing a spring clip/ring from the main body of the shock. See part arrowed.
The workshop repairing it say the distributor does not supply the part separately. (The complete unit is £200+)

Would someone have a scrap or damaged YSS shock to salvage the part - please ?
The part is used on other YSS shocks too. Approx 55mm diameter.

A long shot I know but the shock is unusable without this ring. The preload isn't secured to the body of the shock.

Have you tried emailing YSS directly?
Sometime these companies are happy to help with this type of thing.
Good faith / good PR etc and cost them nothing.

Thanks fellows. Good suggestions.
I think my man would follow it up with YSS directly but he might not be inclined to contact Firefox a competitor. I'll do both on Monday.
