Fit the headers and finish the job off properly. For the sake of another £230 its worth it, honestly.

Er, I think you mean £330 for the headers.

I fitted the hexacone just with the standard headers onto my 06 GSA. Not really noticed any extra oomph but didn't expect to. The noise isn't that loud even with the baffle out. Not noise pollutin' at IMHO - yet I'm happy as GS sounds a bit more like a motorbike now.

When you say collector do you mean the link pipe between the can and the header?

Hi Thanks for the response, i mean the header where it exits under the rear swing arm just at the point where you add the link pipe there is just bearly enough room to put the clamp on. i looked at my mates bike who has a non esa 2008 adv and he has a good 1 1/2" clearance where i have max 1/4" i was wondering maybe if it was maybe to do with the esa.

Had the Remus on both ESA and non GSA bikes, never had an issue with them hitting the pivot but it did come close.

There are a couple of people on this thread that have said that a Remus system is 'BMW approved', a few others have agreed with them, and I've heard the same thing from a couple of people myself... out of curiosity could one of them please point me in the direction of where this is written?
