The Moto Piston is a cracking event,I have been a few times and the weather always seems to cooperate . It can even be very warm even though it is into October.

The run up to Cherbourg was a blast.
Return ferry crossing was rough, the drive up to Galway was nice weather and we took a rural route.
The GSA was perfect except the rear brake squeals really badly when overheated (tearing down off the Picos).
It only does it under extreme use fully loaded. I will put BMW pads in next time to see if they are any better.

The LC GSA is a proper mile muncher and carries weight really well.
My Twin cam GSA was just as good the only real difference is the LC is super smooth at high speed cruising and a bit more pep fully loaded.
