Zontes 703T

A mate of mine sells Zontes and he's doing pretty well with them. The warranty is good and the parts supply from them is supposedly amongst the best for any Chinese products and if he wasn't sure he could back his products, he wouldn't be selling them.

I had a demo out for the day and to start I was a bit sceptical but the bike is actually an absolute cracker.

It feels good, goes and stops well, is well put together and has all the toys you could ever want. The only downside was the seat which was damned uncomfortable but then again, most bikes have this issue.

Great value and if you can get a demo, I think you'll be impressed.

Good to hear . You demo’d the 703F rather than the 703T but same triple engine

Had a look at one today .
Very impressive. Lovely quality with comfy seat and very nice quality switch gear. Fit and finish is up there with the Japanese.
Looks are obviously subjective, especially on here .

At just £6799 I think it’s a bargain , seeing as it’s got cruise, heated seat, heated grips, electric screen,Marzocchi suspension, Michelin Road 6 rubber, cameras etc and a cracking triple motor with great handling .And three piece matching ally luggage in either black or silver is only £699. BMW charge you more for just a top box.
So ready to tour for just £7498.

Only downside for me is seat is quite low at 805mm making seat to pegs a bit cramped.
Otherwise I’d be very tempted. I bet Uncle Wang will offer a taller heated seat soon.

Worth a look .
No wonder dealers are selling every bike they can get .

The only thing that could make that bike look even more fugly would be to sit Nosferatu on it

Hi, I would like to know if any 6ft gentleman has brought one of these bikes or if anyone has brought lower foot pegs. The only other way is to have the seat upholstered.

But seat is heated so might be tricky to reupholster?

Zontes was the most popular, large capacity, Chinese bike we saw in South America - plenty of Argentinians and Brazilians doing long tours on them.
Although the numbers were dwarfed by BMW and Triumph.

The Italian police use them. I was chatting to one at Monza this year and he loved it.

Try giving Chaos Custom a call, I had my heated Tracer9 GT+ seat done by them.
