A good variety of Chinese bikes made an appearance at the Stafford classic bike show this weekend. They looked great! - from a couple or three yards away.

Good to hear . You demo’d the 703F rather than the 703T but same triple engineA mate of mine sells Zontes and he's doing pretty well with them. The warranty is good and the parts supply from them is supposedly amongst the best for any Chinese products and if he wasn't sure he could back his products, he wouldn't be selling them.
I had a demo out for the day and to start I was a bit sceptical but the bike is actually an absolute cracker.
It feels good, goes and stops well, is well put together and has all the toys you could ever want. The only downside was the seat which was damned uncomfortable but then again, most bikes have this issue.
Great value and if you can get a demo, I think you'll be impressed.

But seat is heated so might be tricky to reupholster?Hi, I would like to know if any 6ft gentleman has brought one of these bikes or if anyone has brought lower foot pegs. The only other way is to have the seat upholstered.
Zontes was the most popular, large capacity, Chinese bike we saw in South America - plenty of Argentinians and Brazilians doing long tours on them.
Although the numbers were dwarfed by BMW and Triumph.
Try giving Chaos Custom a call, I had my heated Tracer9 GT+ seat done by them. But seat is heated so might be tricky to reupholster?
