After a lovely darkness into light motorcycle run from Kilmeaden to Dungarven the other morning, I've a hankering for another inline 4.
Anyone know of any Zrx1200 for sale in Ireland? or the North? One lurking in a friends shed that they might part with?
Seen the 1100 on donedeal.
thanks

I see a few 1100's up but they are holding their value something shocking

I also like the xjr1300 in yellow speedblock

I always liked the kawazaki Zrx1200R, but sadly I missed the boat and the good ones now fetch well over £6000.00+, might look at a Suzuki Bandit 1200 Mk1's many still available, low costs and ride the same.

Bandits are stellar for the money.

GSX1400 are nice but still double bandit money.

It’s suprising how much the prices for the green ones differ from the red or blue variants.

Green ones are the 'one' to have alright. Personally I dont mind the colour but must have to square headlight faring. Had a GSX1400 before. Loved it, cracking bike. Always fancied the ZRX1200 tho.

I had one back in early 2003, rearshocks are crap though, needs a good set to help with handling

Bike of its day, as above needs modified to handle better.

I used to own this one which I sold to a lass in Scotland ....

twas a lovely bike and totally standard ...good luck with your search
Of all the retro muscle bikes, I think the Kawasaki is by far the best looking. Absolutely beautiful, and with enough of a nod to the old GPz bikes. As said, prices seem to remain very high for these - I check them quite often!

I think they are 5 speed, with only foreign imports getting the later 6 speed box…although I may be confusing this with the CB1300S. Confusion reigns!

There's one coming up for sale in Mathewsons May auction

The very one. But UK not an option since Brexit. Ive brought a few bikes from UK over the years but assumed from what I've read that its not worth it now. What would that cost to clear in IRL today?

Could be worth starting a thread asking how much to import a bike to Cork,I'm sure people on here must've done something similar

Done to death at this point, there is plenty threads on importing from uk.

Its roughlty 30% extra of total price. That inclules shipping costs too. Only way take hit off is get a sles receipt for less than you paid to help reduce the pain.

The only one thats a possibility is from NI

This one just popped up on DoneDeal, looks class with lovely suspension upgrade, I’d buy it myself if the garage wasn’t already stuffed🤣
