Just noticed the 220 can be had for £200 online, which makes it see even more attractive ........ but is it?

I was looking at the 220 and couldn't get any feedback about it. It seems not that many bought it. I got a 660 instead. They are available at good prices now if you shop around.

I bought a 220 last year from Touratech in Germany with a TT bike mount and car kit etc.
Not fancy but it gets me where i need to go without any drama and works well with my Schuberth C3 SRC Bluetooth!

£373 from Halford's "Reserve and Collect" - from what I'd seen there aren't many discounts about. Halford's was a few quid more than the cheapest I found, but I like the idea of getting it from "a shop".
No doubt someone will be along to telll me they're giving them away with beer at Tesco in a mo'

Seem to be a few probs with Bluetooth and the 350, not all sets work with it. Garmin are reportedly working on a fix.
The 660 is a croc of shit by all accounts!
I've had a 220 for a couple of years and had many issues with the connection. It has a mini USB, which in my opinion is only suitable for indoor use. When it is wired up to the battery it corrodes very quickly and stops working. My record was about 2 months. You can't replace the connector separately and have to buy the complete lead at £30 a go. I eventually got sick of forking out and have now replaced it with a 350LM (Christmas present
), which has a much more robust connection.
I still use the 220 in the car as the actual operation of the sat nav itself is fine.

If it's any consideration the 220 doesn't have enough internal memory to install the current version all of the full European Mapping whereas the 350 has plenty for now and into the future.

Do you have an SD card in it? Assume that's where you installed the mapping if you loaded all of Europe. Two people on the VFR site have had SD cards go bad on tour. Suggest that you pack a spare with everything duplicated.

You'll not go wrong with the 350 LM, got mine on pre order, when first. Announced.
So far so good
Just hooked it up to the PC to check - maps installed onto the Zumo. The SD card is empty.
