I am currently using a ram cradle and mount on a Garmin 350 which is for the car and is therefore not waterproof. This GPS is pre-loaded with full European mapping (2010) and has the ability to play MP3 from a seperate 2gb SD card, running through an Autocom Pro7 Sport.
I am seriously thinking about upgrading to a bike unit, possibly a Garmin Zumo or 2820 as I would like to have the GPS and MP3 player in the one unit, but I have heard that on either of these units the additional mapping outside the UK is on the memory card and you cant then use it for music at the same time.
I want a unit that is
Waterproof
Ram mounted
Has full european mapping pre-loaded
The ability to play MP3 files at the same time
MP3 storage of at least 2gb or takes an Sd card
My question is if you cant store music on the SD card and have full euro mapping at the same time, what unit would I need to be looking at, or is what I have mentioned above wrong?
