Zumo 400 Charging Issues

Hi All,

I brought a Garmin Zumo 400 just before going to Germany a couple of weeks back.

Well, the weather was fantastic, except for a major electrical storm in the Eiffel valley - this was sheltered out for the rider, but not the cradle!

Anyway, about 2 hours later (after putting the unit back on the cradle) I started getting odd messages from the unit.

then it announced that the unit was no longer being charged and was on battery power only!

interesting read when I got home again!

Garmin now have my cradle, hopefully I will get a shiny new one soon!

garmin replaced the unit - it works again!

Have carried out the mods suggested int eh Zumo Forums list - will have to wait and see how it goes.....
