Ok i just got a zumo 400 is near new nick with motorcycle mounth and lead for 70 euro or around 50 sterling

so anything these cant do navigation wise the 500/550 cant do.

i dont need bluetooth thats why i wasnt bothered, but is there anything in the software the 400 doesnt have

still cheap and cheerful so i am happy

also where can i get s cheap bike mount and case for it

I have a 550 and it says "take the next left into the high street" when it gives directions, whereas I think the 400 and 500 just say "take the next left" etc.

Not sure of any other differences.

cheers, in car zumo 400 does not seem give any voice nav but does have a speaker button, when pressed says voice only in bluetooth mode, sure doesnt have bluetooth hahahahaha

I have Zumo 400 and 550.

400 requires mapping on the SD card
550 uses internal memory for mapping.

400 has fewer display scales than 550

From memory - 550 has 200ft, 300ft, 500ft, 800ft, 0.2miles

Al

They all do that Sir, feature of the model (a little software glitch!). You'll need the car kit if you want to hear the instructions.
