Help, I have had a search around on here and tried anything that I think I may be doing wrong, BUT:nenau.
I have 10 routes in mapsource which I am trying to get onto the Zumo.
At first it said that route 8 was too long so I split that up.
It says that they are successfully imported but only a few of them are there.
If I look in the 'user data file' they are showing there all with the correct name ect but will not import.
I tried saving them as a gpx file and then sending that to the data card but still with no success.
If I select certain routes the % counter moves as it is moving the file but on others it just flashes up and is gone.
We are setting off for the Alps on Thurs so panicking and I've ben her for two hours and the wife has just got in from work and I haven't got T ready so I'm in the dog house!

This happened to me about 2 years ago, so the memory has been lost to Old speckled hen since then .
First of all, have you updated your zumo with the latest updates on the garmin site? If so good, NOW have you updated your mapsource on the garmin site. Yes thats right, I was doing the same, but the zumo and comp (mapsource were on different updates :blast:blast) were not comunicating properly.

2nd if that is all as it should be and it still is not working try and load one route at a time, and each time disconect it from the comp, reboot the zumo and import the new file up, then do it again for the next one and so on. It will take a wee bit longer but it may help.

If all fails join here its free and is full of real zumo geeks, they helped me a lot (a bit like this site but geeker is you follow)

Oh and good luck. It will come together really quick once you have it sorted :thumb

edit, come to think about mine was also doing the too many turns thing and I was trying to break the route up aswell, so it will be the updates on the mapsource thing. Update it anyway it won't hurt.

Thanks for that, I have now managed to get the routes across but it says that some are too long and will be updated nearer my destination! I assume it will give me the route it wants rather than mine?
At least I have the way points of where we want to end up so we should get there somehow. Once were in the Alps it doesn't really matter which road we take!
