Another Zumo music issue. Sorry !

There must be a simple solution .....

I have the MP3 files in album sub folders in artist folders in a main folder called music on the SD card (2Gb). Simples.

BUT when i go to select music on the Zumo i only have the tunes that seem to have come with it and are in the device memory space. When i go to source, it says "No book selected". But there is no way of selecting book or looking for the music files. It's as if the SD card music isn't available or can't be read and yet the music on the card does play through Windows Media Player on the comp'.

Any ideas ? All the search function throws up are issues about MP3 files only and not iTunes files etc.

Ta in advance peeps,
Dave
Oh and can that message about agreeing that the GPS shouldn't be used on the move be removed ?

+1 on that. I did the same not so long ago...loaded about 7 Gig of music on top of a few tracks on an SD card for the Zumo and then went around Scotchland with the same 20 tracks playing.....one of which was the Star Wars bastid theme I had inadvertently uploaded off a compilaton CD :tears:tears

Found out that the 7 Gig was in MP4 and wouldn't play it. :blast.
I may be wrong but that's how it was for me.

If it says "no book selected" it is looking for audio-books on the card, not mp3 files. Tap the source button to look for music files. Can be a little slow at times so just be patient.

Also worth taking the card out and giving it a wipe. Mine was in my 660 and the card was not in properly. Has to be in MP3 format.
