Zumo 550 Track Log

From reading various post I was under the impression that with the latest version of the software (3.8) once the track log was full then further tracks would be archived to the SD card. I may be doing something wrong but I can't find the older tracks in the Zumo or on the SD card. The track log says 6% full. How do I retrieve the earlier "archived" track logs?

Any pointers appreciated.

You must have read wrong

The SD cards have nothing to do with it (they are just for mp3 storage and extra maps)

Your archived tracks are in the internal drive under GARMIN/GPX/ARCHIVE/ .....01 and counting

Thanks! I've just had a look and found the missing files Can I delete the file once I've uploaded it to my pc? I can't see any reason why not but just want confirmation

Yes and no..

If you save the files with the original names, it might get overwritten the next time you do it (same file names).

You can delete them with your explorer or within the Zumo itself, No harm done.
