Have a piece of work at the moment that allows me to use my bike for work. Sometimes a 150- 250 mile day I'm using a new Zumo 590 but have one wee issue with it. When I download a route that has been created on Basecamp and set off the 590 prompts for the first destination which is fine however the journey is then treated as a multi destination route with the need to then prompt for the next destination. It's just a bit of a pain as dependent on circumstances I may may not need to stop at all way points. Any one know a way round this? It might be me just being thick! I'm just looking for one continuous route.
Thanks for that. I'll have a look and see how that is achieved. Is it me , I know I'm not overly gifted with technology but I thought I was half way competent, however Basecamp does not seems the most user friendly of software!
BaseCamp and map updates aren't worth the hassle, nowhere near.
Do a search, the shear number of posts complaining about them tells all. Not convinced, try fitting all of Garmins Europe maps on a 660 - not a lot to ask really.
As for map updates, they don't build that many new roads, and I guarantee any trouble new roads cause me will be resolved in way less time than I've spent trying to update maps to computer and GPS.
