Zumo 660 fault

Hi Folks, I have a Zumo 660, and when it starts up it will not find the SD card. If i switch it off and on again sometimes it will then find it. I may have to do this a number of times for ti to find it.
I have tried different cards, formats etc but no better.
I have talked to garmin and they say that the card reader works OK, or not at all- no middle ground- and they are convinced all is well.
any ideas ?.

Mine often does the same, must be a feature

Mine as well, I've read it may be a feature of using such a small card, that it only needs to be a gnats out of alignment for it not to be "seen".
