Zumo 660 - new map 2013.1

Now I am lost.....

Downloaded as per advice - to both Device and Laptop (Mapsource) the laptop mapsource recognizes the 2013 and writes maps in it - I can see they are later versions from new road layouts etc.

Create a route send to device and device now tells me that they were created on a different version of mapping. Cant understand it. When I try to check maps on device I cannot find any map detail at all.

Havent got a clue what I have done.......

What map version does your Zumo say you have installed?

Tools/Settings/Map/Map Info

Should say something like CN Europe NT 2013.10 3D

&

CN Europe NT 2013.10
(1) Tirane, Shqiperia, Neum, ....
(2) Western Europe

(In my case the Western Europe in in the Zumo 660 Internal memory and the other (strange named) maps are on the SD Card in the Zumo.

The 2013.10 should match the map number shown in Map Source.

Hi Grey Beard
It did have 2013.1 on the device when I performed the update last weekend. Yesterday when i went to send some routes over it didnt allow access to the Maps info section, the button was "grey" not blue so would not allow view of the map data.
I wrote a route and sent them accross to the device (it only seems to recognise one route at a time and then I have to close the battery door and import the map to allow the next one to be sent over).
The device fired into life and said "route too long you will be prompted towards the end of your route" (the route was only from Nancy to Damuls in Austria).

I went through the map update process last night again and it told me that the maps on device were already up to date but I continued and updated again (only to device) - the Map Info page now shows 2013.1 3D and 2013.1 W Europe with green ticks in the boxes. i also will try to send accross a few map tiles for Slovinia to see if they show up on the map data page.

It does look like the data was there (the map update software on Garmin website recognised it was there) but for some reason a conflict was occuring that stopped it working.

Thanks for your help though - will keep you posted.
