The contacts on the base of my Zumo 550 have given up the ghost so I can no longer run the unit off bike power or get audio output.
Checked my receipt for the purchase date to see whether it was covered by the 12 month warranty - out by exactly 1 month
Spoke to a very (very) nice French sounding lady at Garmin and they are going to replace it under warranty so I say very fair play indeed by Garmin

Said mademoiselle gave me an address in Southampton to post the unit back to and the way she said Southampton was so beautiful I asked her to repeat it several times
All in all a very pleasant experience.
Wonder if the new unit comes back with the latest maps
