zumo on gs WHERE ?

back in the airhead fold (gs) again ,id like to get and mount a zumo550, but unlike the 1200gs, with adv screen ,which had a lovely bar to mount it on,i cant see where to mmake or mount one ,in a t/t cradle.
the only place i can see is maybe to fabricate a u bar ,and mount it from the original,bottom holes ,from the screen,with a small dog leg to screw onto the cockpit to brace it.
any one with pics or info greatly appreciated

save your money and get a map and tank bag...........your suppossed to be old skool now Dave
or if you must im sure it will fit somewhere............youll be amazed at whats possible

I went between the handlebar clamps smake bang in the centre (or slightly off if you have heated grips as the wires come out and you'll pinch them or worse).

It's not a zumo but i find this works very well

I have mine mounted on the handlebar crossbrace(if thats the right name for it). You can see the crossbrace on Garry H's picture above.
