Zumo upload more than 500 waypoints

Can anyone help?

I want to upload more than 500 waypoints into my Zumo 500? I have a 8gb sd card so plenty of room. I don't mind splitting them into various parts of the world eg. Siberia, Europe etc. but can't work out how to do it.

I can load waypoints onto the SD card but the Zumo wants to import them all in one go and there are over 1400 in total. I can get them in as extras using the POI loader but then they don't show on the map when viewed.

As far as loading way-points/POIs onto the Zumo as favourites is concerned I think 500 is your limit.

What you need to do is open them in Mapsource and then save them as a GPX file, you'll find this in the Save As dialogue.

You then need to use POI Loader to get them onto your GPS.

Be warned that when doing this you will overwrite any custom POIs already on your unit. Your existing favourites and the POIs included as part of the NT mapping will not be touched though.

Doing it this way you can get thousands on there, I have about 25,000 on mine.
