Hi guys, used GPS on bike for first time today to record route, got the track logs onto mapsource from GPS but how can i save them as a route, so i could resend them to GPS another time as a route to follow???

At the moment i have a list of six different tracks in track box but would like to join them all up to create a single route, thanks for any help!

Mapsource 6.12.2 allows you to join seperate tracks together. Don't know if you can then "convert" it into a route, sorry

Or did you know that already? Double

Thanks for that, I saw the join track command but not sure how to use it, i tried selecting all tracks and then clicking on "join track" but nothing happened!

Just sussed the joining together part! Just need to find out how to convert to route.

I thought I'd converted a tracklog to a route ages ago, but it was all very
new to me then. Just spent the last half hour trying to figure out how I did
it. I think what i must have done is batch converted the tracklog points into
waypoints and then "Create route from Waypoints", and I cant see how I
even could have done that.

I think the only way is to use Trackback, which will use your track as a Route
which you could invert.
Hope someone knows the answer.

mmmmmmmmmmm will look into it, got two tracks now, one from home to destination, and one back. Is is possible to send these and navigate on them or does it have to be a route????
