Nop, but have ridden the HP2 with Michelin Deserts on and the front-end grip was brill.... As usual the back end has no chance again the grunt

Nice grippy offroad tyre but not really up to the power of the HP.
You will tear it to shreads in a day's trail riding. Have seen these with whole knobbles torn off.
Mich Desert's are the best option for most going - not as good in mud as a 'motocross' tyre but able to hold together with over 100HP shoving it round.
Not too bad on the road either.
17" rear wheel limits your choice considerably.

it may sounds as a stupid question but do you need tubes for the mich. Deserts on a HP tubeless rim??

Yup, they're tube type tyres, so you will need either a mousse or inner tube. The tyre should NOT be used without.

Agree the desserts are far better offroad than the karoo's and seem to last reasonably well considering.............

Yep I used them in Wales. Ive also used Deserts but not on the HP2.

Unicross have phenomenal grip.. In mud unreal, and loose surface fantastic.
