Kiwi in the house

Hey guys and girls,

I'm from NZ, now settled in the Netherlands. I've been traveling around the world for 4 years the hard way - with a pack and my own two feet ( ok - so there were several planes, trains, and buses used - I'm a slow learner!) So I figure it's about time I get bike!

I'm looking at getting a GS in the next two months ( ether a 1100 or a 1150- the jury is still out). I've lurked around a bit here, and spent a bit of time on the HUBB which is great, but I figure this place is also spot on, and better for specific info on the boxer.

I was logged in as a member of Kiwi Biker a few years ago:
-They had never seen a Scarver before! ...and there was me thinking the luggage hole must be perfect for you kiwies; a bike made for fruit like kiwi!

-And there are not many BMW's in NZ either, I think? No wonder why you left!
