Hello all. My 2004 1150 GSA always has an oily smell when hot. Nothing leaks apart from a minute speck from the filler cap O ring although the oil filter seems to have a slight film of oil on it. Nothing drips out on to the inside of the bash plate so it isn't leaking. Oil filter is well tight and new.
Could it possibly be the oil filter cavity that gets coated in oil when it gets changed and is smelling as it gets hot.
I know, bit of a daft question but had to ask.
