Missing rear reflector?

It was pointed out to me on Wednesday evening that my R1150GS doesn't have a red rear reflector.

OK< there seems to be one built in to the lower part of the rear lamp lens, BUT every other bike we looked at had a separate rear reflector, usually mounted below the number plate.

Is mine missing? Was there ever one there?

Should I panic about being pulled over for it? (Seeing as the lights are always on when the bike is running, it would seem superfluous to me).

Its bulit into the rear light as you observed, that is good enough.

Now in the USA, as I just found out there is law for 5 extra reflectors, but thats boring stuff, so Ill shut up.
