Hello all.
I have talked with mike, at M Tec in germany today.
He has just done some "powercommander" work on two
HP2´s, they were from sweden.
If the owners is reading this, I hope they will supply me with info on the job.
Pros & Cons and Gains on the bike
He claims that a SR Racing+"powercommander"+Air funnel and Air filter is giving 110 HP, on the wheel.
From factory it has about 90 HP on the wheel.
If the job is up to that, then M Tec will have a bike of mine
very soon, to work on .
Thank you
Jan

Hello Jan !

I am one of the Swedish guys. We are very pleased with the result. More power and torque from bottom to top, and a more happy engine. No more fuel consumtion. Pulls easily and hard from 60 i sixth gear and top speed is an indicated 230 km/h.

I am running a remus full system without cat with the db killer on. I also have a blau air filter. I managed 108.8 hp at the rear wheel.

Good luck, and if you go there make sure that Mike will book you a room at the Unertl place. They make wery good Weissbeer.

Hmm... 110HP on the wheel. So it's around 120 to 125hp on the crank? :mmmm

And 230kph (144 miles per hour), goes to the R1200S side me thinks... :clap

Also there are Boxer Boost camshafts available for the R1200 i've heard. Wunderlich used them on the stock R1200GS they raced on the Agadir Maroc Rallye, Dirk Thelen kicked it well:

Don't know who makes them and how much they improve, but maybe worth checking?

I guess the Remus System and the Boxer cams should do the trick.... together with the "power commander". All are available from Wunderlich.... a bit pricey, but based on the results read here.... YUMMY. For me, I only weigh 80kg, with complete riding gear.... and i'm only about 5'4..... i guess the stock setting for my HP would be more than enough for the meantime :D learning to ride a monster of a bike will take some time for me..... but it'll be a very interesting experience
