2610 map updates

Is anyone else pissed off that Garmin will no longer be offering map updates for the 2610? Seems a bit off to make a perfectly serviceable bit of tech obsolete. Esp when its only 5 years old and cost a hefty sum when new. Anyhow I emailed them about this and revieved this reply.

Still they'll probably go bust/retreat to the mountaineering marine and sports markets when google offers free road mapping for more mobile devices!

True......but they keep fecking about with the town roads and one ways to get there!
