Map Updates

Got my nice new XT today.

The unit says there are updates available.
Software v6.50 and maps to CNEU 2023.10

If I run Garmin Express with the unit plugged in, it shows the software update but not that there is a map update available.
Anyone know why no map update?

PS. How shit is the car mount

Pair it to your home Wi-Fi and it should do it’s stuff and update.
Car mount is marginal. I bought a Garmin beanbag mount off the bay. Much better!

Dis mounting it is the problem and I can see the wife buggering the USB connection, so,
I think I will do a variation on this.

Mine is never more than an hour - the countdown soon drops significantly once it gets into it's stride.
