Ok where is everybody?? Nobody posting anything EXCITING ? Is everybody hibernating for the Winter? I feel as deflated as a nadger's thingy.
I've been reading all the post's, but ' What do you put in your Tool Tube, or Pannier or do you have a Fuel Pump Controller' just doesn't get my blood racing. I had to do something, so I looked at that Sticky about Photo Hosting. Master Dabber and others thank you, thank you, thank you. It made me look at my digital photo's again, and it made me relive the tours all over again..Yes!!!
So seeing that I did the Italia 08 tour again later in the year on my own, I'm going to post a few of the photo's as a MOOD AID for those ( I'm now coming alive) days of Spring. ( The last word of the play on words of the Title is not the stuff that blows your hat off, but the short version of Winding that you do when you are Biking through a countryside that gives you a feeling of oneness with the Bike and let's you know that everything is right with the World.
So here goes:

Major Sir - what tent is that?
Looks rather capacious - how does it pack on the bike?

Major Sir - what tent is that?

Hi Monsieur, It's an Outwell Arizona L, I'ts a brilliant tent for 1 or 2 people if your staying in a place for a few days, plenty of room for 2 in the sleeping area and of course you can stand up in it, it also has plenty of room in the living area.It packs down to 800X250X320mm. I don't use it now because I am going minimalist. The Exxon Valdeze comments do hurt you know.Ken.

THE HAUNTING

That'll keep coming back to haunt me :D

And so it should, especially now you've gone over to the Dark Side where you don't seem to know what things are for. Still there's still a few months to go to the trip so you'll be able to get your feet oops sorry your knee down. :thumb

As I now know a picture is worth a thousand words, So.......

The lower Ortleib behind the Backrest contains all the tenting stuff, the upper Ortleib has the table and chairs.

Regards, Ken.
