That's interesting - was it a bobber to start with? I didn't recognise the potential in those newer models but I really like that and it doesn't seem like they have had to do a great deal to it to achieve the look.
Following this post I took a look at 500 Guzzis on sale here in Spain, this looks like an interesting project for someone - not me sadly! - it's an Italian police bike on sale in Spain (Balearic Islands) but never registered here:
Someone has changed the spelling of 'Policia' from the Italian 'Polizia' - I wonder why?
Similar to the horrible fairing on the Yamaha XS1100 Martini bikes.
That's the one (it was a Mockett design I think?)

I’m guessing that fairing never saw the inside of the wind tunnel
........yet, ironically, Guzzi were the first (only?) manufacturer to have their own wind tunnel on site

Surley that would blow him straight out the door;
No, it was to simulate the experience of being overtaken by a Ducati!
I'll get me coat!

Only for said Ducati to break down before reaching the end of the tunnel.
Leave yer coat on the hanger; that was a good un,
How cool is this??
I love this 750 Ambassador, currently on ebay.
You know that it's likely to be 'challenging' but it's coolness will make up for that all day long.
