Well, I had been thinking about replacing the GSA... I could imagine myself getting distracted by one of these

Not real... been done by a desighns company to see if they can hoax Bmw into building it.
The weird thing is they would look back at the retail sales of the HP and see them as a failure. And yet they're becoming super collectable...
I guess if you look at the success of the HP4 then building a new HP2 would stack up. I think they ended up building 5000 HP4's.
The main difference commercially though is that the HP4 was built on the S1000RR platform with a few enhancements whereas the HP2 had a different engine, frame, forks etc. from the GS.

If they did the hp2 again I would have to buy one. Just like I did the first time. Still my favorite motorcycle in over 45 years of riding. Richard.

Looks like the rumour of a new HP2WC is gaining a little momentum - now getting mentioned in MCN. Whether that counts as a reliable source is up for debate though
No details on the format it will take - I'm guessing HP2S WC. I understand that the brief from the head of BMW bikes at the time of the HP2S was for a boxer bike that would scare him. A WC HP2 would probably make him sh1t his pants
