Anyone else out there having trouble with fuel gauge strip indications? This is the fifth time mine has failed. 2017 1200 GS TE.
Please no comments about using the trip. Always do and bike stopped after 160 miles. I always get at least 200 miles out of a tank so always filling up at 150 miles now. Dealer says computer needs to be reset. I am sceptical. It’s a 2 hour round trip to the dealer and having done it 5 times starting to get a little vexed. Warranty about to runout so a little concerned and i am loath to pay £400 pound for a warranty extension but might be forced down that route as BMW franchise labour rates are eye watering.
