Spot on ..... also the G/s is beautiful but the St is a fuggin ugly bike :D ( I've had three st's though - cough ! ) R80 GS had the smoothest engine and was far more comfortable than the G/s

Wonder what mine is worth now. 66,000kms I also have the high mudguard, unused and the single seat and extra rack for it. We have the dual seat on because it is the bike Anna finds the most confortable on the pillion. Only takes 10 minutes to change from dual seat to single seat and rack.

I think the thing is that these bikes are absolutely lovely to look at and also nice to ride. This time last year I bought a 1986 Paris Dakar G/S , that was original with with 30000 miles for the same price. Having paid the price for a non running vehicle once never again for me. On eBay at the moment there is a fully restored identical bike for 2k more.Surely a no brainer!!!! Anyway covid maintenance time at the moment as I covered 3000 miles last summer
