I have been made aware of a G/S frame and some other bits but there is no V5 or known registration number.

Should I consider this or am I looking at trouble and a money pit?

It'll cost you about £13k and you may not be able to get it on the road, depending on why the V5 isn't with the frame.

Do you know if the frame is good?

I'd start with a complete bike in need of a restoration which may only cost you about £8k to do.

If you are happy with the provenance, ie it’s not nicked or from a write off then the next thing is to make sure the vin number ( the stamped one, not the headstock plate ) is clear and untampered with. In the classic Lambretta scooter world bikes are built up from rescued frames all the time. The rest is up to you and how well you think you could source the rest of the bike to make it worthwhile. If it were me I’d be interested.

Seriously good advice, these bikes are not cheap to restore !
