Click to expand... multiple wraps of a heavy nylon strap and a slide hammer maybe? if you could get a slide hammer right on it it would come right off, but that is the issue huh? some sort of a puller, three jaw clamp behind it, bury the main nut in the recess cut on the front of the output shaft and pull it off. cut a square of plywood, with a groove to the center to slide over and protect the transmission case. slide it behind the yoke. use two prybars on either side evenly prying against the yoke, have a buddy tap the center of the output shaft.

Same as would remove an undamaged drive shaft - Insert a pry bar or large screwdriver in the gap at the front of the driveshaft where is mounts on the output shaft and lever it off.
