They look the dogs bolearics.
Where did u get the bits from? would like to fit that set up on my 650.
Could the spots be mounted below the bracket to move them away from the line of the main lights :nenau

Hi Buz, we sell them at Adventure Bike Warehouse as we're the UK distributor for Twalcom, the Italian manufacturer. These fit the 650 twin as well, but it's not possible to lower the position of the spots, although the line of them is just below the dip, so road presence is much better....HID option is well worth considering. Possibly the difference between a car pulling out in front of you or not...

Cheers Stevie,
Its the road presence i'm after more than the road lighting, i find the light on the 650 is pretty good......

Will wander over to the website and have a browse :thumb2

Night time shots please!

You mention the hid-upgrade ..as in, you added hid to the Headlight?!?

Or did the fog-lights have hid added on-top of the £200.

The moving is a good Idea creates a triangle of lights with the main and makes the indicators more visable (the f800 indicators sit a lot lower)

:D :thumb2

I find the standard light on my 650 erm like a candle

aye up Paddy

personaly I have standard in my spots to use as fog or cloud lights we all know what happens when you throw a high beam at Fog

Hid is in the main and dip for me :thumb

maybe some additional hid spots on top in the future giving it the Mother ship look or some LED on all the time daylight running like all the cars are going to have :thumb2 Beam me up scotty :jager

I believe that Dean F650GS (Puma) has a set which is placed lower. Would love to know where he got them :augie

well funny you should ask the lights are from Les fellow gser and the bar and Guards from Rugged Roads (mine was sourced from both). Les now does a package dont tell anyone :D but its under £200. complete
here http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=240348

Now the bar from Rugged Roads (:D dont tell anyone shhhhhhh Annettes just anounced 10% off for ukgser's) anyhow the Bar I beleive is the best on the Market because its one peice strong and light perfect angles, cable tidy locations, also allows fitting above, below and some even fit Both :thumb its a work of art i tell ye.

If it was food it would be Marks and Spencers :augie :augie but at Asda prices :thumb2 think about it :blast

But as I am not registered there's (almost) no way to contact you directly...

Just love you're set up, might crack for the HID ones :drool
Tks for the info & link !

Was it quite easy to set them up ? Wired direct to the battery for you're case ?
Cheers
Bernard

Hi Bernard yes you did! sorry I did not reply to that post. I missed it.

Yes I agree registering is much easier for contact etc :D :D :thumb2

And yes quite easy to set up, all the parts required are in the kit including the switch which fits on the handlebars, and yep:thumb2 direct to the battery.

I get a wider spread of light but also a greater road presence. :roll

Dean :beerjug:

Thanks Dean :)

But I can see a difference between the frame's light you have and the one on Les link ?

I like the look of yours !

Definately think if you prefer a more triangular shape to the light formation, these are the ones to go for. The Twalcom ones sit below the dip, but not quite as low. If they are HID, it makes no difference really whether they are lower or not. The amount of light put out is just the same, just personal preference at the end of the day...:thumb

yep :thumb2 IMHO (and others) I think a triangle of light is a greater presence.
Attention from road Users, hell it makes some car drivers drop there phone :blast

Actualy its more than a matter of personal preference, as a vendor your selling them as advertised on your webbsite for F800/F650. But on the F650 twin with the straight light bar with Hid at night  so close to the indicators (look at how the indicators sit in my pictors above different to the f800) the question is can you actualy see the Indicators working with Hid at night so close to each other?
Have you run tests :nenau or had feed back?

Your lights that you sell look good are they the same Hella ones? HiD Micro DE’s, or even FF50′s. Are you official Hella UK distributers? I must say I thought long and hard about my lights. I dont supose you do a LED small unit by any chance or could point me where to obtain some? I would like a small compact unit on top of the cloud/spot lights (only if it looks good no bricks :D) for Daylight permanent running same as the Main. :nenau just a thought :mmmm :idea

Additional lights are a welcome item why BMW do not offer them on the 8's is beyond me (maybe leaving it to you Vendors). Mind Triumph will offer them on the new Tiger 8 :D :blast :D

I have fitted a pair of Hell ff50`s to come on with main beam and a pair of 9watt led spots (Ebay)that i use as running lights.

Note to self:tidy the bloody garage

+1 for the 9w spots. Only issue so far is that they've faded to a deep dark green on the barrels. £45 a pair - just the job for being seen.

Nippy Normans Autoswitch

Anyone used the Autoswitch for their Aux lights? Nippy Normans blurb:

The AS6B2 is for a second set of lights or another accessory. Switch on spotlights or other accesories just by holding down the indicator cancel button.

For the newest BMW motorcycles with CAN-BUS technology. Now use the turn signal cancel button (TSC).

Now featuring always ON red LED to tell you the spotlights are OFF. LED goes green when your spotlights or other accessory are ON.

Supplied with full instructions including wiring diagram.

Priced at £29

I think the reason they are below on the 605 is due to the positioning of the indicators.

I have Micro des to fit on mine.
Where can you get that switch from?
