A taste of things to come.

A nice steady ride over the North Yorkshire moors is planned for Sunday 3rd September. Meeting at 9am in Thirsk the ride will be over 100 mile including several off road sections. Lunch will be taken at the Lion Inn on Blakey Ridge and the final destination is Sandsend near Whitby.

The route has been provided by Fritz and last weekend Enabb and myself completed a recce to finalise the route and to check out the level of difficulty. We had no trouble on 1150 GSA'a with Tourances. The off road sections are ideal for beginners, nearly all being stoney tracks.

An idea of numbers would be appreciated to make arrangements at the pub. :thumb

Preety sure it's Rudland Rigg. Even more spectacular than Masham area, open views of Bransdale and Farndale, then on to Wainstones and Roseberry topping and teesside. One of THE best BOATS :thumb.
A search on Rudland Rigg (or variations on spelling) would bring up a few pics I guess.

It may be over Glaisedale way having said that :mmmm

Will be a great ride - good shout Richard/enabb :clap
