Surrey Off-Road trail ride anyone?

Hi Folks,

How about another Surrey Wombat hunt, for the the begining of December? Whichever date gets the most votes is when we go.

The route is a popular trail ride using only legal Byways with hill climbs, mud, water, chalk, flint tracks and sand. We meet up at Newlands Corner car park near Guildford on the A25 - Dorking Road.

Streetmap is

HERE

Be there or miss out on a fun day. Look forward to about 60/70 miles of dirt with a stop at a pub half way round for lunch. This is mostly for pogo stick bikes but any hero with a GS is more than welcome, I may be tempted to take my HP2.

The start time is at 10:00 and expect to be back at the car park for 15:00

Please put a posting here if you intend to come along.

Roy.

Great initiative, Roy! :thumb

Both days of the weekend 9th/10th would be fine with me but if we went on the Sunday I could bring Possu along, too (would stop him moaning about me being able to go on Wombat Hunts on Saturdays while he has to sell BMW's... :D ).

Cheers, Ela

Any Sunday good for me, as long as there are no river crossings or deep puddles! :nono

I'll be on the SE. :bounce1

Hi Roy

Depends on the day of course but if I can make it I'll join the "hero" class on my 'lebenundred.

Having joined previous Wombat Hunts I think your pogo stick would be a wise choice... :D

Roy

Will you be going round beforehand and greasing the wet chalk like you usually do?

:D

Greg

PS I dunno if I'll have enough Brownie points to play either weekend - we'll see!

Not sure on any of those dates at present so haven't voted, but if I can make it I will :)
