big thanks to steptoe for organising todays visit to clouds hill. had a great time.

thanks also to clive for the afternoon ford ride, taking me to places i never knew existed in my own backyard....including the petrol station i desperately need in blandford :rolleyes:
 
tried to find you lot, but was running a bit late, so didn't get to Clouds Hill until just after 1. Found the tank place, but no GSs, where did you go for lunch?

So what are the Dorset pups like then:confused:

nobody take any fotos? Not even of Bill being "beaten" by the other bike?

and i only had a pint too. no puring wine down my neck of a lunchtime like some eh bob?

i forgot my camera :banghead:

and my visor came off when the screw fell out this morning :banghead:

and when i got home i had to walk down the road & change the tyre on mrs cookies car, 'cos she had a flat :banghead:

all in all, top day :)

Got in about an hour ago. Just about feel me feet now:D socks are in the washing machine :(

My first ever ride out - foccin ace. Hope they're all as good as this.

Many thanks to one and all for being patient with a newby like me. Steptoe and Uncle albert made sure none of us got lost.

Clive excelled once again it seems at providing some fine ford frolic fun.

Good to see some of the old faces (old meant in the sense of familiar of course :D ).
Also good to meet a lot of new faces ... a good bunch.

Well done to those brave enough to have a go at the fords....
 
We visited the site of Lawrences fatal accident, Clouds Hill - his last home, and his grave site. Uncle Albert was overcome with emotion :D (He did threaten to moon us but we thought the Rev. might object)

Had a great time in (and I mean IN) the ford at Moreton. Thought I better not take too much home with me though!!:D
