A Tech from Rukka - Excellent! Rained from UK to S Spain en route to Morocco and from UK to S Italy en route to Greece. Not a drop!

Chose to wear my Hein Gericke (??) PSX XCR Goretex and armacore thingy trousers with the Rukka jacket and they were brilliant with not a drop let.

Boots from Daytona (bought second hand from here) were equally brilliant.

Arai Tour X, superb. Comfortable too and the peak can be a real help in the sunnier moments.

It really hammered it down too on many occasions and all the above were up to it completely.

Skip.

I use Rukka gear as well... in all weathers...superb kit and very well made --- never let a drop of water in over the last 4 years of abuse. The service is superb as well as I needed a new back protector which I recived in 3 days!... Cant fault the gear

This post fell at the right time for me - I'm after some trousers, need to be fairly cool on hot days and MUST be waterproof when needed.
I've got the Hein Gericke Cruise jacket which is a brilliant bit of kit but I'm loathe to spend too much on trousers. I've looked at their Boost trousers and at £59.99 seems a good buy.
Any advice?

What about gloves, can anyone recommend any waterproof summer gloves?

I use these when I'm not wearing rallye/enduro gloves. As long as you remember to have your jacket over them (other wise the water runs down the sleeve in to them :blast ) They've been great, kept me dry and are quite thin so you still get great feeling for the controls.

Rukka is my choice have had two of their jackets in the last 13 years kept me dry and warm even in the depths of Scottsih winters expensive but good quality and well made.:thumb2

As for gloves i brought a pair of Rukka's gloves last year gore tex lined good fit and nice and thin so that you can feel the controls, only time will tell how good they are at staying the distance!

Bought some Rukka gloves in 2001, stayed waterproof until 2005, cant say what model though, but perfect spring/autumn and bearable in Morocco in the summer of 2003.
Currently using Atlantis gloves, compared to the above I would say that they are slightly heavier, feel more secure should I crash, but less feel at the controls, and so far just as waterproof, but only 18 months old so early days.

I use the Rukka Armax suit... Never a drop through !

Only downside is its very expensive (but once your over the shock..:blast..)

As the kits so good I went for the Rukka GTX Xtrafit gloves. Excellent and again not a drop ! :D:D
