Allihies again.. but off to Asia soon....
Cloned over from a 700GB drive to a 250SSD the big drive only ever had 100 to 110 gb on it at a time as I don't save stuff locally. So I am wondering why change to Windows 10, do I bother? When will Windows 7 become unsupported?

Cheers

Windows 7 has already ceased functional updated but will carry on getting security updates until 2020 I think it is. No hurry in upgrading to win 10 if you don't want to.

If you went from a normal drive to an SSD then make sure you follow the guides or your SSD will have a short life running under Windows. There are a couple of things you must do but the main one is turn off defrag. You don't need it with SSD and it will kill it in short order if you leave it on. Sorry if you already knew this but better safe than sorry.
