According to my dealer, if the disc wears down and it has done more than 10000 miles then that is fair wear and tear as far as BMW are concerned, but if the disc has warped then they will replace them. That's their take on it.

Yep. That's what I just got. Bought the GS last November, all three disks were replaced at purchase - just been for MOT and one disk has too much throw out. So a new pair of disks - hope these last more than 14,000 miles
