Piccies taken today, after a cleaning session, with 61,500 miles on the clock ... :thumb

It's been ridden down to Morocco, the Atlas Mountains, and overland through Europe, Turkey, Iran and to the Karakorum Highway of northern Pakistan ... no big tank required, the money went to riding it :JB

Whell, for the windscreen,
two years ago whe had an accident with a car who didnit saw us (at 20mhp) and after that I have seen some same situations with f-gs's, always the other people who didn't see de bike's. When I had my 1150 gs (with 41L tank:D and 200000km) I never had that problem.
And it is really like that when you look at an f-gs you don't see him verry good.
So that was the reason i painted the BMW touring screen and the hand-protectors in yellow, an now they have no problem seeing me.
The spoiler is an old TT-spoiler from the 1150gs.
I think some people need to ride some more, it is good against frustration,
Now i'am going to ride to Luxemburg, 10min from here take some fuell, almost 15euro cheaper than here and take a big ride in French.:thumb2

I'm not sure that argument makes sense, you could have done it all on an old Super Tenere or Africa Twin and saved even more money for riding. Each to their own, I've spent silly money modifying mine, but it still cost less than a 1200, and it's way better.:friday

Well I can't argue with that ;)

Tour de France

A few pics from my earlier trip to the 'Tour de France'. No mud, no desert, no Karakoram Highway, but it is my annual 'Adventure'.

I think it's written in biking law (lore) that everyone has to post a picture in front of Mont St Michel.
