I didn't mean to upset yer.
Thought you were having a pop at me, so i would have a pop at you. No harm ment.
I do have a manual, but where it is, i dont know![]()
Once again sorry if you had a sence of humor failure, but no harm ment.
After all i was only after advise.......didnt expect to get kicked up the ass.
Lesson learnt.......wont ask here anymore.

If you don't have a helpful answer to give I reckon it's better just to avoid answering the thread![]()

There you go no need to look for owners manual
Rear drive gear oil – change (every 24K miles)
Clutch fluid – change (every 2 years)

The first thing i do with any vehicle i own is get hold of a handbook for that model . Saves you looking an arsehole when you ask the most basic questions that are in the handbook. And the handbooks purpose is to help you. You may not always find yourself in front of a computer to ask for help . And it gives the person answering the question more of his precious time helping those that have tried to help themselves, and really need help, and aren't just being lazy.
Do the rear drive oil every 6k if you've any mechanical sympathy
And the clutch fluid every year (i do it on every major service on the bikes that come in to me - otherwise the clutch bleed unit seizes up .
. Be better if they were searched and came up first on the list of answers. And if you search for 'oil' it's too short for the search system to work with. Might get a few less questions if these things were improved. One of my first post's was in a thread related to the start up procedure as layed down in the manual. Unfortunatley when i parted with a very large amount of cash the dealer neglected to supply said manual ( yes i know it's my fault for buying a 1200). I was advised to ignore what the manual said and just get on with riding it. I can appreciate that the manual will give you the basic info but everyone has different perspectives and information as you've just posted
I've just tried a couple of searches aswell, Tried 'Oil', 'Servicing' and 'Workshop and Repair Manuals'. These all appear in the 'Fount of All Wisdom' section, but don't appear on the search results, because that section is closed. That had me worried for a bit- having all the useful and helpful info in one place and not being able to search there would be silly.....but it does come up on search results.......not sure what you're doing wrong there![]()
You may be able to search it as your a mod and can post in there. Is it the same for a forum sponsor?
Could someone else try searching for a word in there to check this out please?
