1100 gs blocked drain

Went to fill up yesterday, lifted cap and water round the neck of filler. drain hole must be blocked again, cleared this last year. Any tips or advice on how to stop it happening again?

Before the "funnies" come in, how did you clear it last time? I used a mixture of WD 40 and fine wire to clean the crud out and it's still fine after about a year.

Just did mine recently, disconnected the breather tube by the right side of the fuel tank, connected a handpump and pushed out all the shite....

Fine wire just, will try it wd40 and an air line this time.

Be careful with the air line you could force the pipe off the fitting inside the tank.

Bicycle brake cable on an electric drill with lots of WD...... Do it when the oil is changed as part of service......

Where do you park it? My 10 year old bike has not yet had a problem. Maybe a cover to keep the crap off it?
