1100 LH pillion footrest hanger - options?

The left hand pillion footrest hanger on my 1100 has the 'kicked out' kink in it with the blob that engages in the system panniers.

My missus finds this kink in the hanger awkward as it forces her heel to the side (and having tried it myself, I see her point).

Short of taking a hacksaw to it and removing the back of the hanger are there any other hangers which don't have the kink and are a direct replacement? (I use Verns panniers so don't need the provision for the system boxes).

The 1150GSA uses different lugs for the tin pizza boxes .....

hi Mat ,if you dont need to use bmw panniers ,take the hacksaw to them.
i use metal mule panniers now,so cut off the part that the bmw pannier fits to.
looks better.
also less risk of breaking the hanger off when riding without panniers.

i have a broken rear hangar for the l/h side with the kink missing - i have just replaced it - if you want to pay postage you can have it? if you do just PM me. saves you destroying a good one!!
