No 471383... FFS that is some serious riding. Even if it is a 16 year old bike.
I own to 1100`s.
A GS which I bought with 67K and has now just turned 90K with no failures in my ownership other than a rear brake hose.
I recently bought my RT cheap knowing it had a few minor issues which I have now sorted. It has also done just over 90K and runs sweet as a nut.

Mines done way over 300000 now and still goes well.
No real problems apart from wear and tear. Had a new clutch and needs another now after about 190k.
I'm sure there's something I'm missing, but I can't think of it.
I'm only in Chester, which is about an Hour from you, so if you want to pop up and talk bollox, you're more than welcome. Give me a bell first 01829 771040 workshop

My '96 GS is on 93k and the engine is perfect. Just thinking of getting the throttle bodies overhauled but I am very fussy. Had some gearbox issues at around 75k but the previous owner spent £2600 at a dealer getting it fixed!
Probably that your bike's like Trigger's broom
