1100 or 1150 front shock?

Would some one please clarify if a front shock from an 1150 will fit an 1100GS?

Will a shock from any year 1150GS fit any year 1100GS?

Yes they fit, I have an 1150 shock on the front of my 1100, apparently they are a slightly better shock too

Well it would fit an 1150GS so I guess yes but its longer, so the front will be higher etc etc, a 1200GS shock is the same length as an 1150 but needs a respring..
