1100 wont start

I am fairly confident it is the HES gone wrong

The symtoms are no spark when turning over on the starter but intermittant random sparks sometimes when switching on

Has anyone in the UK got a good spare available for sale or loan to confirm.

Richard. It's been mentioned in this section that a fault with the HES nearly always involves the wiring. you could examine that and maybe effect a cure by replacing it without the expense of replacing the entire thing completely or waiting for an answer on here. worth a try at least.
